ABOUT SUSAN FERGUSON, OWNER OF SUNSHINE MEDIA

I live just outside Glasgow in Scotland with my husband, an additional support needs teacher, and my three kids, two boys aged 10 and 7 and a little girl of 2.

I love a good book, a holiday in the sunshine and a coffee in the morning. 

In a more personal sense, I'm passionate about giving a voice to mums in business and empowering this community to pass on entrepreneurial skills, a growth mindset and confidence to the next generation of women who want to support their families, without sacrificing themselves and their time with their children. 

I've always wanted to do something different in life to the norm of "study, get a job and do that until you retire". After my exams in school, I decided to get some life experience, working in a solicitor's office before completing a law degree at Strathclyde University. While at university, I worked in a pet shop during weekends and holidays. This was the last time, aged 19, that I had a "proper" job!

For the past 17 years I have started, developed and sold a number of small businesses.

I have 14 years experience in marketing to parents through my own businesses and now as a marketer myself. I absolutely love helping other businesses in this sector to not only survive, but to thrive and grow.

My aim is to share our knowledge with you in a fun and friendly way - while helping you achieve maximum results and creating social media and marketing strategies that work for you!
